For me, a video editor is a professional responsible for processing, composing, and combining various visual and audio elements into a cohesive, engaging, and communicative video. Their duties include selecting footage, adjusting rhythm, color grading, synchronizing sound, adding visual effects, and ensuring the message or story is effectively conveyed to the audience. A video editor not only masters the technical aspects of editing software but also possesses artistic sensitivity, a sense of storytelling, and an understanding of production objectives.
